Stichting Voorbereiding PALLAS-reactor (‘PALLAS’) was formed in order to realise a new multipurpose nuclear reactor and related facilities in Petten, Noord-Holland (the ‘PALLAS-reactor’) through private funding to replace the current Petten High Flux Reactor (HFR). PALLAS’ focus for the new plant in Petten is on excellent facilities for future business in the areas of R&D and production of radioisotopes (for medical and industrial applications) and research facilities (for medical isotopes, as well as fuel and material testing for nuclear energy technology). The intention is for the PALLAS facilities to be commercially financed, owned and operated.

This expression of interest (EOI) encapsulates the following scope(s):

— to take, as appropriate, soil samples identified,

— to have the stipulated analysis performed at a suitable laboratory,

— deliver the resultants to PALLAS on or before 30 November 2020.
