Energinet will erect an indoor 220 kV GIS-station (Gas Insulated Switchgear) named the Point of Connection (POC) at Volder Mark, to where the concession owner will connect the Offshore wind farm. From the POC, Energinet will establish a connection to the overall transmission grid through establishing of two 220kV cables which will be connected to the existing transmission grid at Idomlund where it then converted to 400kV. The distance from Volder Mark to Idomlund is 28 km. At Idomlund a new 220kV AIS (Air Insulated
Switchgear) station will be constructed as part of the 220/400kV conversion (insured under another CAR insurance). For further information see Risk and Insurance Information document.
The insurance procurement covers Onshore Construction/Erection All Risks insurance including Marine Cargo, extended maintenance and Third-Party Liability (TPL) Construction Insurance for Project Thor Havmøllepark with inception September 1, 2022 and involving the following:
Construction/Erection incl. Terrorism.
Estimated Contract value DKK 671,500,000. LEG3-06 cover DKK 76,000,000. Extended Maintenance period 60 months. Marine Cargo DKK 25,000,000 +10%. Terrorism DKK 100,000,000. Third-Party Liability DKK 100,000,000 and further sums/limits according to the
attached document "Risk and Insurance Information".
Energinet reserves the right to award the contract based on the initial tender. There is no remuneration to participants in the negotiations. Costs incurred by the tenderer in connection with the preparation and submission of a tender for one or more lots are the tenderers to bear and will not be reimbursed.
There is anticipated to be one negotiation meeting held via Microsoft Teams.
