The Chemnitz City Hall, opened in 1974, is expanded to include a congress extension. This project is part of an overall measure, which also includes renovation measures and the exchange of ventilation and air conditioning systems. The subproject congress extension is called TP8 CCC. This subproject involves the expansion of the existing structure by 3 additional conference rooms. After partial dismantling of the "shop zone" on Theaterstrasse, the building volume is supplemented on this side (facade N / NW). The tender includes the loose furniture: lounge furniture in the area of this extension.
