The State Agency for Flood Protection and Water Management Saxony-Anhalt, Genthin River Area, intends to rehabilitate the Elbe dike in accordance with DIN, which was heavily stressed in the course of the past flood protection events in 2002 and 2013. The dike section to be rehabilitated between Elbe km 352.0 and 352.8 is located on the right side of the Elbe in the district of Burg, within the administrative boundaries of the city of Burg, in the district of Jerichower Land. Since the rehabilitation of the dike represents an intervention in nature and landscape, compensatory measures have been defined within the framework of nature conservation studies (landscape conservation accompanying plan, species protection contribution, FFH impact study), some of which have already been implemented. After completion of the dike construction work, compensatory measures are now to be implemented on the land side of the dike. These are part of this call for proposals.
The services include in detail:
- Sowing of landscape lawns
