Roofing and plumbing work for the extension building with gymnasium of the LVR special school "Kurt Schwitters School" Gräulinger Straße, Düsseldorf.
The extension complements the existing building next to the gymnasium with classrooms and classrooms, some of which are provided for the operation of Open All Day. The construction work is carried out during operation.
The 1st construction phase describes the construction of the new building with gym as solid construction. The existing school building will remain in operation during the construction period and will be completely renovated and partially restructured following the completion and move into the new building in the second construction phase.
The new construction of the first phase includes a gross floor area of approx. 3 408 m
Subject of the services are the entire roofing and plumbing work of the 1st and 2nd construction phase.
The pent roofs of the sports hall and the class building receive a covering as a zinc standing seam system, the flat roofs of the new building and the student library in the existing building are executed as a green roof. Furthermore, work has to be done on the erection of skylights in the new and existing buildings.
The work will be carried out with a time delay:
- execution times 26.1.2020-30.7.2021,
- New construction BT1 + 2 6.1.2020-21.2.2020,
- Old building BT 3 18.1.2021-26.3.2021.
