Conclusion of a framework agreement on a trading partner for the procurement of Microsoft Academic licenses via an Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) as well as on an existing Select Plus Academic for schools of the city of Leipzig

Microsoft school licenses are to be procured for the IT equipment of school cabinets at Leipzig schools.

As a 90% subsidiary of the city of Leipzig, Lecos GmbH takes over the procurement of these licenses.

Lecos GmbH, as the contractor and holder of the Microsoft contracts, is to centralize the procurement; however, the licenses are used exclusively in Leipzig schools. This procurement construct has already been positively tested by Microsoft and is in use.

For the client devices, the licenses are to be procured via an Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES). There is already an accession to FWU4.0, which expires on 31.10.2023. As part of the tender, the follow-up contract for 12 months is therefore to be concluded.

The server licenses, on the other hand, are to be obtained as perpetual licenses through an existing Select Plus Academic. The corresponding server pool of the contract is active. In addition, further calls may be made via this contract.

For the following contracts, the trading partner is put out to tender, through which all license purchases of these contracts are processed for a period of 12 months:

- Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES):

o Term: 01.11.2023 - 31.10.2024

o As a follow-up to existing contract FWU4.0:

- Select Plus Academic:

o Trading partners for 12 months according to the duration of the EES

In doing so, the new trading partner also supports the specified procedure for changing the trading partner for the Select Plus Academic as well as the conclusion of the EES.

In addition to the sale of the license, the trading partner offers free services in connection with the sale of the license, as described under 1.5.

The new trading partner is to take over the execution of the aforementioned contracts from 01.11.2023 for a period of 12 months.
