Invitation to tender from the City of Wolfenbüttel and municipalities in the Wolfenbüttel district. The City of Wolfenbüttel and several municipalities of the Wolfenbüttel district aim to expand the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in public road spaces. Accordingly, the City of Wolfenbüttel (Wolfenbüttel) is conducting this procurement procedure in its own name and on behalf of the participating municipalities. Wolfenbüttel intends to grant operators of charging infrastructure a fundamentally exclusive general right for the construction and operation of charging facilities in public space through a EU-wide procurement procedure. The tender is based on a site concept that defines the number of charging points, their charging capacity, and a search area for the respective location. The concession will be awarded in two lots.
LOT-0001
Lot 1: Site Concept West.
To determine the charging infrastructure to be constructed as part of the tender, Wolfenbüttel has created a forecast of the number of electric vehicles and their charging needs and has based the construction quantities on it. Prior to the tender, Wolfenbüttel examined which areas in public space are suitable for the construction of the charging infrastructure. Based on this, Wolfenbüttel has established search areas where the charging infrastructure will be constructed and assigned them to the two lots (Appendix A: Site Concept Lot 1 (West) and Appendix B: Site Concept Lot 2 (East)). In principle, each municipality is assigned to one lot, with only the City of Wolfenbüttel being assigned sites in both lots. Coordination with the responsible grid operator has not yet taken place and is therefore a task for the selected operators.
