The focus of the planned project is the testing of a special model of result transfer. The so-called patent model, which was presented as part of the MORO optimization, is to be used for the first time. The starting point for the development of such a mentoring model is above all considerations to strengthen the topic- and project-related knowledge transfer and (experience) exchange between the model regions. The latter is a success factor that is repeatedly emphasized by current and former model regions and is to be strengthened in the future.
Here, a more "experienced" home 2.0 region of the current 1st or 2nd season will take over a sponsorship for one or more other, yet to be selected new region(s). The sponsor region will support the transfer region in introducing or applying the IT solution for securing services of general interest and/or the associated process knowledge, which has already been tried and tested as far as possible. As a rule, the transfer region is supported as an initial grant recipient and the support by the sponsor region is realized within the framework of a forwarding contract. A total of 6 "adaptation projects", i.e. cooperations/sponsorships between regions, are to come about.
