The school building of the school area (1 school building, 1 gymnasium and 1 sports hall) of the Jürgen-Fuhlendorf-Schule was built in 1971
and expanded in the following years (1988, 2004 and 2010/2011). Currently, the school is staffed by about 867 students daily during school hours.
Although the actual school building is designed for only about 650 students in 31 classrooms. This makes it clear that the
