The object of the contract is the procurement of new applications and technological means that will improve the management and functionality of the Municipality. The selection of the proposed actions was made from the marketplace of actions of the call in order to meet the local needs and policies of the Municipality.
These actions include:
• Smart pedestrian crossings and accessible to people with disabilities, which offer safe passage for pedestrians & pedestrians with disabilities in the intervention area through automatic recognition of pedestrian presence and automatic light signaling of the crossing where feasible or in collaboration with traffic lights.
• Smart City Guide with a record of local businesses, a comprehensive solution of a Platform for Enhancing Local Entrepreneurship and promoting business - tourist activity and cultural heritage for the Municipality. The use of new technologies is the driving force behind the implementation of the project, which will make the area an attraction for tourism, as well as effectively disseminating the history and culture of the area.
• Platform for managing kindergartens, informing parents with smart application, which aims to organize and serve the operation of the Municipal Child and Infant Care Centers and the remote submission and management of registrations. In addition to improving the organization and operation of services, the digital platform will also support two-way communication with citizens and will serve as a means of informing and serving them. Finally, the digital platform will contribute to further specialize the social profile of the Municipality, upgrading the services offered to parents.
• Digital Platform for managing vulnerable groups, software, aimed at organizing and servicing the operations of the Municipality’s Social Services, with a unique and unified representation of beneficiaries receiving social support in any structure of the Municipality, as well as the management and connection of ongoing services and social benefits directed towards these citizens. The main goal of this project is to serve as the most important and fastest channel of information and service for the Municipality’s citizens with immediate responses to related requests, as well as with two-way communication with the services providing social benefits.
• Urban greenery and public space management system, aiming to modernize the way of managing and organizing urban greenery and public spaces of the Municipality, so that they become more easily manageable.
• Management system of municipal cemeteries and digitization of files, which will fully cover the management of burials, exhumations, ossuaries, extensions, charges, etc. of the municipal cemetery. It will also provide spatial visualization of the information on a digital map. With this project, the Municipality will have a clear and fully updated picture of the cemeteries and the relevant department of the municipality will have a daily operational tool.
• Electronic Budget Consultation System, Technical Program, web application that will enable the Municipality to conduct consultations with citizens via the internet. Citizens can comment, converse with the municipal authorities, propose, respond to questionnaires on municipal matters through authentication. As a result, citizens’ proposals will be published based on the most popular choices.
• Electronic management and organization system of the Administration and operational capacity of the Local Authorities, web application that will have the ability to determine specific administrative information, which will be drawn from local information systems and displayed to reflect the current state of the Municipality as well as the latest administrative events.
The estimated value of this contract amounts to €617,908.17 excluding VAT of 24%, estimated value including VAT: €766,206.13 and is subdivided into the following sections:
