The city of Nuremberg is planning the structural security and development of the Zeppelin field into a place of learning and meeting.

In this context, the term zeppelin field includes the entire structure, including the grandstand.

The object planning of the outdoor facilities, service phases 1-9 according to §§ 38 ff. HOAI.

The assignment takes place in stages, divided into individual service phases. With the conclusion of the negotiation process, service phases 1 to 3 are contractually commissioned.

There is no legal entitlement to the transfer of all service phases.

The lead object planning (architectural service) of the overall measure and new buildings on the Zeppelin field such as an info point are advertised separately.

The preservation of the Zeppelin field and grandstand in their structural substance and as a historical ensemble is the prerequisite for being able to use the potential of this historical place, especially for additional educational offers.

In addition, the use of the site for various sports and leisure activities is accepted and desired. The recreational function of the park landscape must be further strengthened through appropriate infrastructure measures.

As a place for historical-political educational work, recreation, informal encounters and unorganized community, the site also fulfills an important function for a pluralistic urban society.

The development of a sustainable maintenance concept for the open-air facilities should also contribute to the preservation and permanent recognizability of the facility.

- paths and squares in the area,

- in front of the rear of the Zeppelin grandstand with steps,
