Continuation of the strategic master planning, taking into account long-term structural development
The University Hospital Frankfurt is a supramaximal care hospital and the largest hospital of its kind in the Rhine-Main area. In total, it consists of 32 specialist clinics and clinical institutes and, together with the Faculty of Medicine and more than 20 research institutes, forms the University Medical Center Frankfurt. In order to implement the general ethical, social, scientific and economic goals of the University Hospital Frankfurt, the client pursues so-called "key objectives" in coordination with all relevant departments of the clinic together with a further 32 university hospitals. The guiding objectives of the University Hospital Frankfurt are aimed at the special mission of conducting research and teaching on the basis of excellent patient care in order to achieve progress in the fight against diseases and disabilities.
The subject of the contract is to advise the University Hospital Frankfurt with the aim of updating the strategic master planning, taking into account long-term structural development. In particular, the medium- and long-term perspective from the point of view of infrastructure (construction and equipment) will be included.
The contractor has to provide the following work package: Update of the strategic master plan
The work package includes the update
•the 2007 strategic master plan with the infrastructure projects implemented in this regard;
•the resolutions on the parent-child centre, the structural upgrades of the psychiatric clinics and the special isolation ward,
•of the strategy paper Universitätsmedizin Frankfurt 2022
in strategic planning, taking into account the long-term structural development of the University Hospital Frankfurt (UKF).
