The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), is a multi donor platform that aims at helping to increase the level of private sector investment in the infrastructure of developing countries in order to accelerate growth and contribute to the elimination of poverty.

The PIDG Trust, acting through its Programme Management Unit (‘PMU’) is requesting proposals to provide consulting services to undertake the first independent evaluation of InfraCo Africa Development Ltd (IAfD) — 1 of a number of Facilities set up by the PIDG Trust to implement its objectives Evaluation must cover all IAfD's activities since inception (2004) to 31.3.2015 with a specific focus of IAfD operations over the last 5 years ie from 2010 onwards. The Evaluation will not only include an evaluation of IAfD's operations and results but will also assess IAfD's governance structure, strategic direction(s), rules and procedures. The Evaluation must also assess the performance of the current developers contracted by IAfD.
