The KWM 30 building, which is now a listed building, is located on the site of the former Kraftwerk Mitte, in 01067 Dresden. The building dates back to the 1828/29s and was built for the operation of electrical switchgear. The building has been unused since 1996.
It is planned to thoroughly renovate, convert and put to a new use the building, which was built entirely in solid construction, taking into account monument preservation requirements. The former switchgear of the Mitte power plant in Dresden is to be given a new internal supporting structure and converted into an office building. It consists of a three-storey, approx. 43 m long and 19 m wide three-nave hall building and two narrow transverse head buildings on the gables for development.
