DSB is offering this framework agreement regarding the delivery of a Wide Area Network (hereinafter referred to as the Network) to DSB, as well as its operation and support. The Network is to be delivered as a service through a subscription scheme and is intended to replace DSB's existing network. The Network and associated services are to be delivered with the aim of connecting all DSB locations and DSB's data centers into a single shared infrastructure with the capacity, security, and operational stability requested in the framework agreement. As of the date of publication of the tender, DSB operates 205 locations that are to be provided with connections.
Delivery of the Network is divided into phases: 1) A clarification phase 2) An implementation phase 3) An operational phase with Ongoing Services DSB may also order Ordering Services, including new connections and hourly-based consulting services. Thus, the Network will continuously be developed during the term of the agreement as DSB places ongoing orders for ordering services and new connections that will be part of the overall network infrastructure. Upon termination of the contract, the supplier shall assist DSB with termination services and transition to a new network infrastructure.
