The orthopaedic building complex built at the beginning of the 30s in Semmelweis-/Philipp-Rosenthal-Straße, which has already been renovated and converted several times, for the last time as a psychiatry, is again in need of renovation. A core task is the complete replacement of the ailing drinking water system, including connection to the public utilities, as well as the upgrading of the low-voltage grid, especially in the telecommunications sector. In addition, there are mandatory interventions in the main building distribution to ensure operation.
In the course of the construction project "Renovation with renewal of drinking water network / upgrading of wet cells and floor coverings", both the new patient bathrooms to be built (psychiatric wards ground floor – 2nd floor) and individual wet and usable areas (changing rooms SG, smoking rooms ground floor - 1st floor, 2 ward kitchens) are to be equipped with ventilation.
The work will take place in individual construction phases and while adjacent hospital operations are ongoing.
