The Tampere higher education community (University of Tampere and Tampere University of Applied Sciences) is asking for offers for office furniture. The scope of the procurement includes furniture purchases carried out during the procurement period. The agreement also includes furniture design.

The aim of the tendering process is to meet the overall need for furniture for the Tampere higher education community so that the framework contract suppliers have furniture suitable for all premises and sites. The provider must have a comprehensive selection of both office and public space furniture in its selection. Public space furniture refers to, for example, furniture suitable for the common areas of higher education buildings.

Office furniture is procured as a framework agreement based on the following areas:

The five (5) best-placed bidders in the sub-regional comparison shall be selected for each sub-area. Where there are fewer than five sub-regional tenderers, all tenderers meeting the suitability and minimum requirements for tenderers who have submitted a tender in accordance with the invitation to tender shall be selected for the sub-region.

On the basis of the framework agreement, procurements will be made for a maximum of EUR 6,000,000 (VAT 0%), of which the share of the Tampere University Foundation sr. is estimated to be no more than EUR 3,999,999 (VAT 0%) and the share of Tampere University of Applied Sciences Ltd is estimated to be no more than EUR 1,999,999 (VAT 0%). The Tampere University Foundation and the University of Tampere will make their own procurement decisions in accordance with their own expenditure reserves.

The framework contract period is two (2) years. The framework agreement period may be extended with two (2) one (1) year option periods (2+1+1 years). Individual contracts may be shorter or longer than the framework contract period.
