The district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen intends to expand the grammar school in Schrobenhausen again and to renovate the aging existing building from the ground up. These measures will be carried out in two construction phases. In the following, the construction phase II will be put out to tender. After completion of the BAII, the BAIII will be put out to tender.

The following measures are planned for the conversion, renovation and expansion of the grammar school in BA II:

- New construction of a classroom wing

- Energy-efficient upgrading of the existing façade

- Dismantling of the existing gable roof

- Construction of a continuous roof for the existing building and new construction

- Renewal and energetic upgrading of windows / facades

- Construction of a circumferential escape balcony on level 1 and level 2

- Upgrading of existing building services

- Measures for fire protection upgrading

The plot has a cumulative size of approximately 16.500m2.

Construction of new construction:

The classroom wing will be built in solid reinforced concrete. The statically necessary interior walls are made of reinforced concrete in fair-faced concrete quality. Facing shells and subordinate walls are created in lightweight construction (drywall). The ceiling above the 1st floor is sealed bituminously and provided with a two-layer insulation layer. A carpenter's hipped roof construction is erected. The hipped roof is covered as an aluminium crimped seam roof.

The concrete structure is insulated by means of a rear-ventilated curtain wall.
