The Council wishes to award a contract for the provision of Corporate Security Services.

The Council is seeking an organisation to provide security services for all of its corporate requirements. The requirements have been split into the following lots:

I. Lot 1 Harrogate Convention Centre (HCC)

II. Lot 2 Static guarding for temporary accommodation hostels

III. Lot 3 Mobile Security.

Bidders may submit a tender for 1 or more lots.

The Council requires the contractor to provide site security services for Harrogate Convention Centre (HCC). A 24 hour, 7/365 Security Service across the whole site including the Royal Hall, Ripon Road, Harrogate HG1 2SY. The requirement does not include stewarding or event specific security.

A contractor is required to provide security cover for the Council’s temporary accommodation/hostels. The contractor will be required to assess the right calibre of the guard, must have experience with working with vulnerable people and dealing with issues surrounding anti-social behaviour.

A contractor is required to provide mobile security services to Harrogate Borough Council for security patrols for parks and gardens with regular patrols in the Valley Gardens, Valley Drive, Harrogate, HG1 2SZ and other parks and gardens across the district as required. In addition the contractor will be required to provide a parks security service.
