The City of Mikkeli (hereinafter referred to as the "Client") requests your offer through this invitation to tender and

monthly cleaning services required by the City of Mikkeli in accordance with its appendices that exceed its own production capacity.

The City of Mikkeli aims to select one contract partner. If the actual contracting party is unable to produce the additional work required by the client, the client has the right to purchase the additional services it needs from another operator.

The items included in this invitation to tender are the items to which at the tender stage

Regular cleaning of the premises is required (at least 1 x week). During the agreement period, there may be changes in the number of sites to be cleaned due to the municipality's service offering, locations and possible organisational changes. The changes currently known are included in Appendix 2 (Site descriptions and division of responsibilities) of the invitation to tender.

The cleaning service to be purchased includes a service package consisting of regular maintenance cleaning work at a monthly price and basic cleaning work that is separately defined and priced annually with the customer. If there are substantial changes in the area to be cleaned or in the service description during the contract period, the contracting parties shall jointly agree on a change in the service fee.

The service provider must notify the site of the calculated maintenance cleaning time/cleaning session. The cleaning time must be based on the level of cleanliness specified in the service description and contract. The stated maintenance cleaning time must be optimal to maintain the agreed level of cleanliness. Pricing must be based on the stated maintenance cleaning time.

Basic cleaning work carried out in the summer has been lightened, which is why the quality of maintenance cleaning work according to the service description is considered even more important. The fixed-term work specified in the service description shall be performed at the required frequency and their implementation shall be documented. Maintenance cleaning is carried out during the operating season, when the use of the facilities is highest and the premises must be clean.

Basic cleaning work is cleaning work that cannot or does not make sense during the active use of the premises. Basic cleaning tasks include, for example, removing dust and other loose materials from high-altitude objects (over 250 cm) and vertical surfaces, as well as cleaning furniture from surfaces (underside, feet) that are less important in maintenance cleaning.

If an object to be cleaned is out of use for at least one month and the service provider has been notified of it at least three (3) weeks in advance, the service provider does not have the right to invoice for it.

It is possible for the Provider to store cleaning equipment, supplies and machines, as well as detergents and cleaning products in the cleaning rooms of the properties.
