The aim of the procurement is to cover the need for winter maintenance and road operations on municipal roads, foot and cycle paths, car parks and areas belonging to municipal buildings in Ålesund Municipality. The procurement is divided into 6 areas. The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a framework agreement with one or more tenderers. The tenderer will become part of the contracting authority's total road and winter operations, and must expect to co-operate with internal and external crews belonging to road operation services. Tenderers can submit a tender for one, several, or all areas. Tenderers are asked to assess their capacity as regards to how many areas they can submit a tender for. A separate evaluation and award will be made for each of the areas. However, the contracting authority will still be able to prioritise awarding areas with the fewest tenderers first.
An exclusive contract will be signed per tenderer for the awarded areas.
The contracting authority will select the most favourable offer per area based on the award criteria.
