Architectural services for additional accommodation at St Canice's GNS, Finglas, Dublin 11. St Canice’s is a primary school under the trusteeship of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin.

In summary, the project will comprise:

• 9 x mainstream classrooms 80 m2 each (to replace six prefabs);

• additional toilets 19 m2.

Giving a floor area incl circulation, staircases, lift and internal walls of: 1 076 m2.

Also:

• demolition of existing six prefabs 480 m2.

• Please note: once appointed, the Design Team (DT) will be tasked with the provision of interim temporary accommodation.

Interim temporary accommodation

• Please note: once appointed, the Design Team (DT) will be tasked with the provision of interim temporary accommodation (Two classrooms 80 m2 each), including all required statutory approvals and compliances, to be used by the school until such time that the permanent structure has been completed. The DT are to ensure that the location of the interim temporary accommodation does not impede the development of the permanent additional accommodation.
