Description:
Patient call and emergency staffing system

The wellbeing services county of Päijät-Häme invites tenders for a patient call and staff emergency call system in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices.

The nurse call and distress call system to be procured will be introduced in the primary health care wards of the Päijät-Häme wellbeing region, Salpausselkä Rehabilitation Hospital in Jalmari and, as an option, in Heino-la wards. Jalmari's departments are as follows: J12, J20, J21, J22, J31, J32, J41, J42 and, as an option, Heinola wards 11 B and 11 K. In the procurement, it must be taken into account that the personnel distress call system can be expanded in the property for use by other operators if necessary. The emergency call system for personnel is also used for employees of services arranged at home from wards and when going outside the property, for example. when going out with the patient.

In addition, the acquisition will include an option to expand the system to other offices in the wellbeing services county of Päijät-Häme.

The system is in use for all of the above. wards 24/7. There are about 250 beds in Jalmar and about 50 beds in Heinola wards. When the shift changes, there are about 20 simultaneous users per unit. The number of personnel using the system is approximately 400.

The scope of the system to be procured is patient-specific calling devices and a distress call system, as well as other necessary accessories (e.g. corridor displays, emergency call buttons, etc.). Mobile compatibility is needed for the systems used by the wellbeing services county (LifeCare (LC), ERP system and optimisation of the division of duties) and phones.

Systems must be reliable and maintenance and support must be available 24/7. It must be possible to manage the system remotely and fault calls must be handled remotely as soon as possible. A physical equipment failure must be repaired within 24 hours of notification.
