The Energy Revolution Integration Service (ERIS) has identified a gap where various projects sponsored by Innovate UK are both utilising common datasets and services and not retaining project data. The objective of this procurement shall be to obtain a data platform which can store data from partner projects, internal catapult project data and area specific assets in one platform. The data will then be accessible either publicly, privately between project partners, or privately within Energy Systems Catapult.

The objective shall also be to obtain a frontend application to make it as easy as possible to submit data to the platform, along with documentation and allocate a licence for use. There shall also be a data storage backend for the hosting of many different types of data. It is anticipated that the data platform shall become a data hub for energy system operators and innovators to submit future project data to and will become a tool for future services to be provided by ESC.

The contractor shall deploy a front end that can be accessed from the internet. This shall be a web portal that will present users with a catalogue of data that can be searched based on its metadata.
