County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service wish to engage with a third party ICT service provider to provide a managed ICT support service to Headquarters and associated Fire Stations in the region.

The provision of network and ICT support are currently outsourced contracts with a third-party.

This opportunity to assist the Authority and the contract requirements will cover the following main areas:

— Service desk;

— Application support;

— Hardware maintenance;

— Server room management;

— On-site support staff;

— Service level management;

— Security management;

— Resilience and Data services.

The following are outside the scope of requirements and this tender:

— Data cabling;

— Supply of wide area networking;

— Voice network infrastructure;

— Command and Control mobilising systems

— Budgetary control.
