The federal road B 460 connects the Hessian Ried and the A 5 and A 67 motorways with the Odenwald. A section runs as a 2-lane federal road through the district town of 64646 Heppenheim.

In the east of Heppenheim, the B 460 bears the street name Siegfriedstraße and runs in a valley, the height difference from west to east rising from approx. 108 m + NN to approx. 128 m + NN. In this section of the route, the Stadtbach is about 1km long, and Siegfriedstraße is a densely built-up street.

The existing twisting of the Stadtbach under Siegfriedstrasse is to be renewed in several construction phases in a difficult urban situation; see Chapter 1 Object and structural planning engineering structures Verdolung Stadtbach.

In the course of this renovation, the street space on Siegfriedstrasse will be redesigned; please refer

Chapter 2 Project planning, traffic system, road expansion.

In addition, a new road drainage system for the B 460 will be created via a DN 400 sewer with 2 Sedi-Pipe systems and an existing dirt sewer in the city of Heppenheim will be renewed in individual sections with partial expansion of dimensions and changes to the routing; see Chapter 2 Object and structural planning Engineering structures Drainage system / sewage channel.

The construction projects take place at the same time, ie additional and other services are required across all service areas. Supply lines from several sectors are to be secured during the construction project, partially relocated and integrated into the construction process. Supplement to the announcement for negotiation procedures with participation competition: The individual engineering services to be performed are listed in detail under point II.2.4) of the contract notice.

For the project mentioned under point II.1.4 of this announcement, the following services have to be performed:

- Project planning engineering structures Lph. 2 - 4,

- Specialist planning structural planning performance phase. 1 - 4,

- Project planning traffic system Lph. 3 and 5.
