New pressurised pipelines for waste water and conduits with conduit manholes for signal cables will be laid along large sections of the route. In connection with new waste water pipelines, a new municipal waste water pump station will also be established at Sarpebakken. Manholes will be facilitated for future connection of branch lines.

The procurement includes rigs for building/construction/sites, as well as construction of the above-named installations. The installation area is located in Råde Municipality in Viken County.

The project concerns establishment of just over 6,800 metres of DN355 water pipeline and 6,400 metres of pump pipeline for waste water (diameter ø50-90) and associated installations, manholes and branches on the stretch between Rygge Air Base and Tasken in Råde Municipality. This project is stage four of establishing a ring connection on the water supply. The new water and sewage system will also facilitate connecting scattered buildings along the route to the municipal Water and Sewage installation.

The pipelines will be made with extensive use of controlled drilling and pipe pressing. Conventional ditch execution will be used where boring is not feasible. Three major crossings will also be implemented through the Østfold line, E6 East and FV118 [County Road 118] Mosseveien. All of these will be carried out by pressing of product pipes, and will be critical operations in the project.

At Rygge Air Base, MOVAR’s inter-municipal DN500 water pipeline will be connected by using prefabricated manholes with custom manhole bases.
