The assignment concerns a design and build of a Logistic Test and Education Center (LTEC) on part of lot 2 of Tech Lane Ghent (campus E) Logistics in Ghent (Zwijnaarde).

LTEC is a practical center where logistics applications and technologies, knowledge and experience, theory and daily expertise come together.

LTEC is a building that consists of 3 parts:

- 2 rentable modular spaces that can be furnished with a number of process techniques for warehousing (reception - storage - dispatch).

Companies can occupy these spaces

1) check whether a new technology or process adjustment generates the expected added value through testing;

2) collaborate with other partners and / or providers in order to work out the desired product solution or process change

- a space that is rented out to a permanently established training provider.

Drawing up a complete design (including exterior construction), taking into account the conditions of these specifications and all necessary investigations to ensure correct implementation,

 Drafting file for environmental permit with all possible requested attachments (including re-screening, ...) as determined in the decision of the Flemish government of 27.11.2015 implementing the decree of 25.4.2014 regarding the environmental permit and according to the standards determined by the Flemish government

An archeology note must be added to the environmental permit file. This archeology note is drawn up by the client.

 The digital submission of the file via the environmental counter.

 Contact with the fire brigade and provide the necessary documents, process advice from the fire brigade before applying for an environmental permit.

 Contact with the landfill expert and provide necessary documents in function of requesting his advice on the design, as well as adjusting the plans based on his comments. Contact with the landfill expert in function of monitoring the execution of the works with the aim of checking whether these works do not cause damage to the dredging sludge landfill.

 Provide the necessary documents for ATO advice and request advice if required

 Preparation of implementation design, study of stability, equipment and special techniques, evacuation and intervention plans, as-built and post-intervention file

 EPB reporter and EPB reporting

 Safety coordinator and safety coordination

 BREEAM Assessor and Assessment and the implementation of the necessary study in the context of obtaining the certificate

 Ventilation reporter and ventilation reporting

 Realization of the assignment in accordance with the offer and conditions of these specifications

 Follow-up / planning of all construction works and outside construction, incl. Organizing and being present at the necessary consultation moments / site meetings

 All supply and removal of waste, soil, ... as a result of the works

 All external construction and closures as provided in quotation and specifications

 Cleaning of site zone after the works (and if required, restore to original condition)

 Possible contacts with utilities and making the necessary connections to the utilities
