The Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia (MKW) announces the delivery, installation, commissioning and programming of a digital locking and access control system from SimonsVoss Technologies GmbH.

In the MKW service building Völklinger Straße 49, a hybrid locking system is currently being used, which consists in part of the physical locking system purchased in the 1990s, on the other hand an extension with electronic locks, with which all exterior doors and areas with special security requirements ( management offices, IT, personnel, registry, etc.). The physical locks installed no longer guarantee unauthorised and uncontrolled access.

Since an electronic locking system from SimonsVoss has now been implemented at another service location for security reasons, the existing system is now to be expanded at the headquarters in Völklinger Strasse 49 so that the same standard is set up in both locations, thus enabling access to both buildings is possible.

The following services are to be provided:

1. Delivery, installation, acceptance and final invoice: 01/08/2022 - 15/12/2022

2. Telephone support, emergency service and troubleshooting during operation (until 12/14/2027)

3. Software support and hardware maintenance during operation (until 12/14/2027)

4. acceptance of an extended warranty in accordance with § 13 VOB/B for the entire factory (material - except batteries -, installation) and all services during operation (until 12/14/2027)
