The contracting entity shall provide a framework agreement for the provision of subscriptions and terminals for satellite telephony, radio communication equipment and service and support. See Section II.2.4) for a description of the offering.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs uses satellite communications for satellite telephony and Internet access via satellite systems. Satellite communications are used in situations where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not have general access to other forms of communication. Satellite communications are commonly used at the representations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs throughout the world, on special occasions for communication between relevant parties, as well as during crises.
For the duration of the framework agreement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs needs to acquire satellite capacity for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' existing terminals, new terminals, accessories for new terminals, satellite capacity for new terminals, and service and support. In addition, the tenderer must provide a booking system and provide ad-hoc services in the form of technical assistance throughout the world.
The estimated value of the framework agreement is DKK 8,000,000-12,000,000. The range indicated is justified by the uncertainty as to the real value of the framework agreement. The lower limit of the range thus reflects the contracting entity's most qualified estimate of the value of the framework agreement at present, while the upper limit of the range expresses the maximum value of the framework agreement.
