Due to the influx of new metro equipment (M5) and the growth in passenger numbers, there is a need for a more robust energy supply for the metro. To this end, the metro traction reinforcement project has been launched that aims to achieve a more reliable and scaled-up energy supply in which the traction installation of the NZ line is also integrated into the existing traction energy system of the metro. With the realization of this project, these cables will be replaced where necessary.
The cable is put out to tender separately in advance of the award in the tender for the construction and installation of the traction energy supply, and commissioned. The purchased cable will be given to the Contractor for the construction and installation of the traction energy facilities as a management supply.
The cable must be produced before the start of the traction reinforcement project in mid-August 2023, and be ready for call.
