Construction of the excavation pit incl. relocation of the intersecting RW sewer
The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts is being built on a federally owned plot of land in Bonn.
The property has a size of approx. 6,300m² and is located in the city of Bonn on a green strip north of the Federal Ministry for the Environment at Robert-Schuman-Platz and south of the intersection of the BAB 562 with Ludwig-Erhard-Allee (exit Rheinaue).
Description Scope of early action: excavation pit and development
The tendered work is put out to tender as an "early measure" to the main construction work and includes the construction of the excavation pit including shoring for the structure of the main construction project and the relocation (demolition and new construction) of the rainwater sewer running through the construction site.
The subject of this tender is construction work in the service area of construction site equipment, earthworks, excavation pit with approx. 46,000 m³, drilling work, shoring work for girder screed wall with approx. 150 girders, approx. 270 grouting anchors and approx. 2,700 m² infill, ramming, vibrating and pressing work, dewatering work and provisional pipeline for relocation of rainwater sewer, sewer construction length approx. 100 m, concrete work for sewer and shaft structures.
