Description:
Turnkey contract with interaction for the construction of Deichman Adamstuen

Oslo municipality, represented by Oslobygg KF, invites tenderers to a restricted tender contest regarding a turnkey contract with interaction for the reconstruction of Building 17 at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science. The school shall be reconstructed to a new library, henceforth referred to as Deichman Adamstuen

Oslo municipality has purchased parts of the Old Norwegian School of Veterinary Science and took over the property in December 2021. A new district library shall be established at the site for St.Hanshaugen.

The existing building 17, formerly the Welfare Building, will be restructured and renovated to make room for the Deichman Adamstuen (DA) district library. The building is from 1970 and has an area of 1486 m2 divided between a ground floor and a basement.

The contractual work shall be executed in two phases:

• Phase 1: Preliminary project phase - interaction

• Phase 2: Execution phase(option)

Phase 1 of the contract period will start immediately after the contract is signed.

Phase 1 is planned to last until early 2024 and phase 2 is scheduled to start in spring 2024. The project is planned to be completed during spring 2025.
