The purpose of this contract is to designate a holder who will: 1/ Develop or propose a methodology to measure the pressures, impacts, and dependencies of tourism companies, and to evaluate the role of their governance in terms of biodiversity; 2/ Test this methodology with a panel of ten companies in this sector; 3/ Develop recommendations to strengthen the consideration of biodiversity issues by sectors and companies in the tourism sector. This market is part of the plan to reconquer and transform tourism known as "Destination France". Indeed, this plan provides for the implementation of a measure to assess and reduce the ecological and energy footprint of the tourism sector, in order to contribute to serving the ambition of the France to become the first destination of sustainable tourism.
The services of this contract are divided into four phases presented below. The service provider will ensure that its work can be used by the administration for sectors and companies in the tourism sector.1 Develop or propose a methodology to measure the pressures, impacts, and dependencies of tourism companies, and to evaluate the role of their governance in terms of biodiversity2 Constitute a panel of ten companies representative of the activities of the tourism sector3 Test the methodology on the panel of companies, then develop recommendations to strengthen the consideration of biodiversity issues by sectors and companies in the tourism sector4-Synthesize the work, and share them with the Monitoring Committee
