Mittweida University of Applied Sciences intends to procure a central and highly available storage and backup system.

The storage system is designed to provision the shares for the home and workspaces, the storage for the virtualization environment, and for databases and archives. Corresponding requirements are placed on performance, availability and redundancy. The backup of the data stocks should be carried out with an easy-to-integrate solution. The operation of both systems must be ensured by a corresponding maintenance agreement.

Corresponding requirements are placed on performance, availability and redundancy. The backup of the data stocks should be carried out with an easy-to-integrate solution.

The scope of delivery and services to be provided includes the delivery, installation, go live and the safeguarding of the operation of the storage and backup system through appropriate maintenance over 60 months from the date of going live.

The start of productive operation for the two tendered systems is planned for 31.12.2022. Should a start of productive operation for the entire system be delayed to a time after 31.12.2022 due to the current delivery situation, the contractor must fully provide maintenance of the existing NetApp Metrocluster and the FAS2554 backup system under the defined conditions from 01.01.2023 until the two systems put out to market. The bidder must include the costs incurred by him for this in his offer price.
