Instead of the previous heat pumps and chillers, a new WP/KM with a heat output of 600 kW and a cooling capacity of around 450 kW will be installed. In heating mode, waste heat from the cold water circuit primarily serves as a heat source. In addition, ARA Münsterlingen's purified wastewater can complement the machine's heat demand. In refrigeration machine operation, condenser heat is primarily used for heating purposes. Non-recyclable heat is transferred to the ARA water. The old installations are dismantled and the new WP is delivered on site. The HVAC contractor's scope of services includes the supply and installation of all heating, refrigeration, ventilation and sanitary installations within the energy centre. In addition, 6 district heat pumps have to be replaced in the neighbouring headquarters. For storm ventilation of the new WP, an earthed duct with a ventilation chimney must be created.
