Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services. Architectural and related services. Architecturaldesign services. Architectural services for buildings. Quantity surveying services. Structural engineeringconsultancy services. Engineering design services for mechanical and electrical installations for buildings.Construction project management services. Project management consultancy services. Architectural,engineering and planning services. The University is continuing a period of capital investment into our builtenvironment. We estimate that the capital programme for the period 2012-2016 will be approximately 40000 000 GBP in value for condition maintenance, refurbishment and new build, and for a wide range ofaccommodation, including specialist accommodation supporting the teaching and learning environment of theschools. Included among the potential new projects are: Halls of Residence Library & Learning Space Sports &Leisure Facility We wish to appoint a framework of consultants to assist with this programme of work, replacingthe current framework which expires in May 2012. The programme for the tender exercise is:

— Return of Completed Pre-qualification Questionnaires: 14.11.2011,

— Evaluation & Selection of Tender List: 14 November - 5 December 2011,

— Issue invitation to tender: 5.12.2011,

— Return of tenders: 6.1.2012,

— Evaluation of tenders: 6 January - 3 February 2012,

— Confirm appointment of successful companies: by 16.3.2012.

Companies wishing to be considered for appointment to the framework will be required to successfully completeour Pre-qualification questionnaire and to provide evidence of working within a PPC2000 contract framework(or similar 'open book' contractual arrangement), evidence of experience working within a Higher EducationInstitution delivering multiple projects across an ongoing operation and will be asked to provide details of anyspecialist projects in a Higher Education environment that they have successfully completed (eg auditoria,studio spaces, language laboratories, library facilities, lecture halls, specialist research/laboratory space etc).Please note that we are not at this stage inviting expressions of interest from construction companies, materialssuppliers or consultancy services providers others than those disciplines set out in the six Lots described.
