Kvam herad, c/o Technical Unit would like enter into contracts for snow clearing services.

The content of the assignment is described in annex 1 - 'Instructions for snow clearing'.

The procurement will be made after a tender contest with negotiations. 

The snow-clearing service is divided in areas in the municipality. Tenders are requested for snow clearing services for areas, but due to practical reasons all the areas are published in the same tender notice. The framework agreements will cover most of the contracting authority's need for snow clearing services.

The total turnover for such services in Kvam head varies, but is usually approx. NOK 3 million a year based on experience and expectations. This means that the total value of the contracts can be approx. NOK 18 million The contract period will be 5 - five - years. The expected start-up date for the contract is 1 November 2023. The contracting authority has an option to extend the contract on the same terms for 1 - one - year so that the total possible length of the contract is 6 years.

The contracts established via this tender contest can be utilised by all departments and units in Kvam herad. All municipal enterprises will also be parties to the contracts.
