Services according to VOB/A for high current, low current

At the existing building complex HyFaB (Research Factory for Fuel Cell Technology - HyFaB1 and HyFaB2) in Ulm, Lise-Meitner-Str. 24, the project "Powder-Up! – Development, scale-up and production of competitive cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries" another building finger will be designed. The pilot plant planned within the project, an analysis laboratory and systems for rapid electrochemical validation are to be implemented.

The Powder-Up! - Gebäudefinger will also include the basic technical installations necessary for the further expansion of the Lise-Meitner-Straße site. The basement building accommodates the pilot plant on the ground floor (powder part) and on the first floor (precipitation part). Analytics will be housed on the second floor and electrochemistry on the third floor. The basement contains the rear connections to the existing HyFaB energy center, the necessary building infrastructure for chemical operation and a measuring room for vibration-sensitive measuring devices, which are used as part of Powder-Up! can be purchased. In the basement, the supply infrastructure for a possible third and fourth building finger is also being prepared.

This main part of the service "Installation of electrical systems" includes:

• Expansion of the existing fire alarm system and installation of comprehensive monitoring and alarming

• Connections for the office workstations according to ZSW standard (parapet ducts & floor tanks with corresponding installations)

• Connections of plants and laboratories

• Equipping the ELT sub-distribution boards with building automation (WAGO)

• Gaswarnanlage

• Lighting (by means of continuous rooflights and downlights)

• Fire protection closure of the openings

• Data cabling incl. active components

• Surge protection and lightning protection system on the roof
