Contracting Holzheizkraftwerk (HHKW)

In the context of this tender, eins intends to find a contractor who plans, builds and operates a wood-fired combined heat and power plant (HHKW) on the basis of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) on the basis of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) on parcel 108/43 (Neustadt municipal area), Mauersberger Straße in Chemnitz Siegmar and makes the heat available for a fee at the transfer point to the district heating network.

The electricity generated is to be fed into the public grid and remunerated via the EEG. The direct marketing of the electricity is provided for by the customer (AG).

The heat is fed into the district heating network of Chemnitz, which with a length of about 280 km is one of the 20 largest district heating networks in Germany. The annual heat demand of the entire grid is about 1,000 GWh with a peak load of about 320 MW.

The premises of the HHKW should lie on the following points:

-Production of green heat at economic conditions

-Flexible driving style within the scope of technical possibilities

-Regional fuel procurement from renewable, untreated solid biomass

-low emissions

The contractor (Contractor) must provide all services necessary for the planning, construction, approval and permanent operation of the power plant under the above-mentioned premises. The contractor is guaranteed the purchase of a defined minimum amount of heat per year. The purchase of further heat depends on the pricing model, the flexibility of the contracting and is subject to the economic optimisation of the customer's use.

Commissioning of the power plant is expected to take place in 2026. The delivery period of the contracting extends over 20 years from commissioning. After completion of the contracting, the plant must be completely dismantled within 6 months.
