The Authority has entered into a contract with an ESP to provide a range of services relating to the recovery of unpaid tolls and fines charged for the use of tolled facilities within Ireland. The ESP will be responsible for carrying out a range of enforcement and legal debt collection actions on behalf of the Authority.

This contract is classified as a ‘Part B’ contract under the European Communities (Award of Public Authorities' Contracts) Regulations 2006. During the term of the contract being procured, the Authority may exercise an option to extend the scope to include similar services for other tolled facilities that it operates (or are operated on its behalf) within Ireland.

The Authority reserves the right, in accordance with Regulation 32(5)(f) of the European Communities (Award of Public Authorities' Contracts) Regulations 2006, to award new services to the successful Tenderer.
