Description:
The project involves upgrading the Petite-Île bus depot's electrical infrastructure to support electric buses, including the construction of high and low voltage systems, charging structures, fire safety measures, outdoor surface development, and maintaining operations during construction.

This contract is part of the electrification project of the bus depot in Petite-Île, currently used for the outdoor storage of approximately 80 buses. In order to accommodate electric buses, the site must be fully equipped with a new electrical infrastructure for high and low voltage, as well as the necessary structures for placing the future charging systems and adapted to the fire prevention measures specific to electrically powered buses. The services include, among other things:

1. High voltage electrical substations and distribution
• Construction of a new outdoor substation to replace the existing guard post (complete demolition of the building). This substation will house the high voltage cells, four dry transformers of 2,000 kVA, the general low voltage distribution panels, and the auxiliaries.
• Adaptation of the existing substation located in the main building, including the replacement of transformers and the addition of a specific distribution board for the power supply of the chargers.
• Connection of the equipment to the internal high voltage network of STIB (11 kV network).

2. Low voltage distribution and power supply for chargers
• Supply and installation of cable trays, risers, power cables, and support structures for the transport of energy between the substations and the future chargers.
• Installation of low voltage distribution boards dedicated to supplying the chargers and lighting.

3. Charging structures and metal fittings
• Complete dismantling of the existing structures and their equipment.
• Construction of new long-span metal structures allowing:
o the attachment of charging canopies,
o the passage of cable trays,
o the integration of light fixtures. These structures are designed to cover the bus parking alignments and support the charging equipment.

4. Fire safety and compartmentalization
• Construction of fire walls made of precast concrete to compartmentalize the parking alignments and limit the spread of a fire.
• Creation of firefighter corridors that comply with SIAMU requirements.
• Installation of local and general emergency shut-off switches allowing for the disconnection of the power supply to the chargers.

5. Development of outdoor surfaces
• Demolition of existing canopies and islands and complete reconstruction of the concrete slabs necessary for bus traffic.
• Reshaping of slopes, renewal of rainwater drainage systems, and installation of technical gutters.
• Construction of localized slabs dedicated to the placement of chargers.

6. Lighting and low currents
• Installation of a new outdoor lighting system that meets EN 12464-2 standards, with several levels of intensity.
• Relocation, commissioning, and rewiring of low-current equipment (cameras, operational phones, Wi-Fi), as well as the implementation of temporary wiring during construction.

7. Phasing and maintenance of operations
• The works will take place while maintaining activity, with progressive phasing allowing the operational functionality of the depot to be preserved.
• Coordination with the temporary parking on the neighboring site (“Léonidas”), used to relocate part of the buses during the works.
