Vinje Municipality, Fire and Stand-by, hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to procure a new water supply vehicle that will be used by the fire service in the municipality. Vinje Fire and Stand-by is a part-time fire service where the crew have their main job outside the fire service. As the number of turn-outs a year is not large, the equipment must be simple to use and easy to recognise by user of all our equipment. The vehicle must have top safety features and must be user friendly for the crew.

This procurement is for the delivery of a new complete fire tank lorry with a minimum capacity of 8000L. The vehicle is to be delivered registered and ready for operations, in accordance with requirements specification and functional requirements stated in the requirements specification, with minimum:

- Minimum water capacity of 8000 litres.

- Four wheel drive (4x4).

- Automatic transmission.

- Room for the driver plus one passenger.

- Top safety features and user friendly for the crew.
