In the city of Warendorf, the construction of a new fire station (location north) is to be realized in the area of the "In de Brinke" area. The location is an approx. 5,287 m2 plot of land on Milter Straße (L238) northwest of the intersection area with Stadtstraße Nord. The services of the technical equipment are put out to tender in an open procedure in accordance with § 15 VgV.

The city of Warendorf intends to build a new building complex at the "In de Brinke" site to accommodate the volunteer fire brigade, which meets the spatial and technical requirements of a modern fire service. In addition to the building equipment specially required for the fire brigade, great attention is paid to the energy-efficient system technology. According to a decision of the council of the city of Warendorf, all municipal buildings are to be operated CO2-neutral by 2030.

The new fire equipment shed is to be designed for a complete fire truck with around 80 firefighters and 6 vehicles. This includes vehicle parking spaces, changing rooms and sanitary rooms, as well as training rooms and other ancillary rooms. In addition, rooms are planned for children's fire brigade.

The architectural services have recently been commissioned.
