Introduction of a company-wide intranet at degewo AG
degewo is Berlin's largest municipal housing company and is characterized by the highest quality in all services related to real estate. We take responsibility for the city of Berlin and its people. With around 76,000 apartments in our portfolio, we are one of the largest and most efficient companies in the industry in Germany.
Our portfolios extend over the entire city area and we are continuously expanding our housing stock through new construction and acquisition. We are constantly improving our service so that we can meet the diverse needs of our customers. With over 1,400 employees, we build, manage and manage our holdings ourselves.
degewo plans to introduce an intranet (including testing, maintenance and support) to centralize knowledge, communication, interaction, services and collaboration. The aim of the renewal of the intranet platform is to facilitate collaboration, promote dialogue and interaction, enrich the corporate culture as well as increase availability and user-friendliness. The contract is awarded on the basis of an EVB-IT system contract.
Introduction of the company-wide front-door intranet (designed to be barrier-free in accordance with BITV 2.0)
The following functionalities are included in the scope and are to be mapped:
1. Expansion of the digital workplace for all employees through the front-door intranet
2. Connection to MS Teams to promote collaboration
3. Interaction opportunities for the active participation of employees
4. Integration of a central knowledge management system
5. Efficient and intelligent search function
6. Presentation of employee profiles and directories
7. Extensive tools to support editorial work
8. Possibility of providing a newsletter and digital employee magazine
9. Provision of a mobile intranet app for extended information distribution to employees without a fixed workplace
10. Representation of the various organizational units
When sizing the solution, the following numbers of users must be taken into account:
• Approx. 1,400 degewo employees
• 60% mobile users
