The target of the procurement is a pyrolysis gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (Pyr-GC-MS) for SYKE's laboratory centre. The equipment will be procured primarily for the quantitative analysis of microplastics such as SBR, NR, PE, PP and PS and the identification of additives present in them in various environmental samples.
The object of the procurement is a pyrolysis gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (Pyr-GC-MS) installed for the client (Syke research infrastructure) in working order, as well as training in the use of the equipment and a two-year proactive annual maintenance agreement. The pyrolysis unit shall be a multi-shot vertical micro-furnace with an automatic sample feeder and shall include a pyrogram book program to speed up the processing of the results of microplastics and their additives. The equipment will be procured for the quantitative analysis of microplastics present in the environment, such as SBR, NR, PE, PP and PS, and for the identification of additives present in them in various environmental samples. The maximum value of the procurement is 180,000 euros (VAT 0%). The costs of a two (2) year maintenance contract shall be reported annually.
The offer must also include a warranty period of equipment (at least 24 months), as well as deployment training (at least 16 h immediately after installation) and further training (at least 8 h 6 to 12 months after deployment) for subscriber staff.
The maintenance agreement includes preventive annual maintenance, the spare parts required for them, consumable parts and software updates. The price of the maintenance contract must include all possible costs, such as the employee's salary, daily allowances, travel and accommodation costs. The timing of maintenance visits included in the service agreement is agreed separately annually. The invitation to tender is only available in Finnish. The tenderer shall be responsible for any translation and the resulting costs. Tenders must be submitted in Finnish.
Prices must be indicated in the offer excluding VAT. No partial or alternative offers are allowed. In addition to the installed equipment, the total price must include an annual maintenance contract for two years. The costs of the maintenance contract must be reported broken down by year. Annual maintenance is invoiced annually in connection with maintenance. The invitation to tender shall be accompanied by detailed information on the gas, electricity and ventilation connections required by the equipment, as well as other necessary building system connections. The selected supplier does not acquire exclusive rights to provide the services.
