The Zweckverband Nationalparktor Keltenpark is building a visitor centre with exhibition rooms and gastronomy as a starting point for visits to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
The building is built as a hybrid reinforced concrete wooden frame construction with a curtain, ventilated wooden façade and shallow green roof. The special features of the structure lie in a cross-shaped floor plan with rounded interior corners, as well as partial embedding into the site, so that visitors can overcome the natural topography inside the building.

Refrigerator 1 piece Wall refrigerated shelf 1 piece The kitchen is located on the ground floor of the building. In the adjacent catering area there is a counter for serving. Both are intended exclusively for the management of visitors to the visitor centre.
Wall cupboards and stainless steel tables are provided for the preparation and preparation of the food. Some of the tables are additionally cooled or heated. In the cooking area, next to the stove, there is a deep fryer, a grid plate, a hot air steamer and a pizza oven.
In the dishwashing area there is a basket push-through dishwasher with inlet and drainage table.
For storing the food there are two refrigerators and a freezer inside the kitchen. For other frozen products, there is a freezer cell with a floor area of approx. 5 m² in the adjacent warehouse. In the area of the bar there is a refrigerated counter with integrated dispenser and glass washer. For the additional sale of cakes, a cake counter is integrated into the counter. In addition, the shop, which adjoins the foyer, has a refrigerator and a wall-mounted refrigerated shelf for displaying regional products and cold drinks.The two cooling units required for the refrigerated counter and freezer cell are located in the outdoor area on the outer wall of the temporary exhibition and are located in the immediate vicinity of the warehouse. The cable routing of the cold pipes takes place both in the screed and under the ceiling.
