Natural stone work curtain wall
The façade of the connected components A, B and C of the listed administration building of the Hanover Ministry of the Interior at Lavesallee 6 is to be renovated. The building has a natural stone cladding from the time of construction, which is to be completely dismantled and replaced by a new insulated curtain wall with the same appearance. The new façade cladding consists of composite lightweight façade panels with a natural stone surface, which is to be made from the accepted existing material. The natural stone surface consists of approx. 60% recycled natural stone slabs and 40% new natural stone material.
The services in detail are: dismantling and disposal of: columns/ceiling front claddings, weather banks and reveals approx. 1600m², dismantling and disposal of external venetian blind systems 414 pieces, steel railings 67 pieces, window grilles 22 pieces. Dismantling of 2200m² of natural stone wall cladding for reuse and conversion to composite panels, as well as 343m² of natural stone balustrades.
Installation of a ventilated, insulated façade with UK: approx. 2200m², natural stone wall cladding 343m² natural stone balustrades, 1600m² natural stone column/ceiling front cladding, weather benches and reveals, 182m horizontal fire barrier and 350m small animal protection. Assembly of other components: steel railings 67 pieces, window grilles 22 pieces, permanent scaffolding anchors 661 pieces.
