The artworks (locks, bridges, etc.) of the Brussels – Scheldt Sea Canal and of the Leu-ven – Dyle Canal are operated by a remote control system. There are 2 independent control centers for operating these artworks remotely.

Each control center is responsible for the remote control of artworks:

• Central Zemst for the remote control of 8 bridges of the Brussels - Scheldt Sea Canal;

• Cluster Kampenhout for remote control of all locks and bridges of the Leuven-Dyle canal, except for the Zennegat lock and bridge.

The assignment can include the following items on demand (indicative, not limitative):

 Maintenance

 Linking additional artworks to the abs;

 Construction of new duo control posts;

 Adjustments to the VHF installation such as:

O Changing channels;

O Replacing, installing, redesigning antennas, etc .;

O Adjustments to the radio configuration;

O Measurements;

O ...

 Adaptations to the SCADA environment (synoptic images, structure, etc.);

 Unforeseen adjustments and improvements based on hourly rates for study, labor, project management and engineering;

Maken Making bridges with local redundancy controllable from both control centers;
