With the DigitalPakt I Schools, the federal government provides funding for the expansion of the digital infrastructure. The district of Mayen-Koblenz as the school authority intends to equip the schools with a modern digital education infrastructure. The technical planning for approx. 230 classrooms in 6 schools will be awarded in individual lots. Execution is scheduled to begin in the summer holidays of 2023.
In order to be able to submit a funding application, an inventory analysis with cost calculation has already been prepared for each school by a specialist planner. The investment volume of the measure was determined in this way. The upcoming implementation planning must be based on the results of work phases 1-3 according to §55 HOAI.
A revision of the technical equipment is planned for all existing classrooms. The classrooms and subject areas will be adapted to the country's recommendation for "digital classrooms" in order to promote digital working in the classroom. Identical standardized care is provided for each classroom.
